The Stangl Witch Walk returns to Stangl Road in Flemington on Friday, October 30, for its fifth anniversary, this year themed The Haunted Carnival.
The evening runs from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The borough's Halloween notice lists food trucks, live music, craft beer and a pop-up bar, along with carnival games and a costume contest. The night also brings back the witch dance the event is known for. The notice does not list an admission price.
The Witch Walk is the second of three Halloween nights in the borough this week. It follows Thursday's Kids Costume Parade at Court Street Park and comes the night before trick-or-treating, which runs from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday.
Also on Friday, the Raritan Township Police Department holds a Trunk or Treat. The township's announcement gives the date but not a time or location. Families planning to go can call the township office at 908-806-6100 for details.
Anyone driving to Stangl Road should plan for a crowd and leave extra time to park, and keep an eye out for costumed walkers after dark.
