Schaefer Farms at 1051 County Road 523 in Flemington has two kinds of Halloween weekend on offer: a family day on the farm and, after dark, the last nights of the Farm of Horrors.

The Farm of Horrors is open on Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31, its final night of the 2026 season. One ticket covers all four connected attractions, Hayride of Horror, Trail of Terror, Massacre Maize and Carnevil of Chaos. Tickets start at $36 and are sold online. The haunt runs in the evening, with opening times starting at 7:00 PM, so check the ticket site for the exact hours each night. The attraction is not open on November 1.

In daylight, the farm's fall festival runs hayrides from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday. Admission is $18 per person by card or $15 in cash, and children under 8 and veterans ride free. The price covers the hayride, corn maze, hay maze, feeding the farm animals and parking. The farm's fall page lists November 1 as the last hayride day of the season.

The farm stand is open daily from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, according to the farm's homepage. Questions go to the farm at 908-782-2705.

For anyone planning a full Halloween in town, trick-or-treating in Flemington Borough runs from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, with Broad Street and parts of Bonnell Street closed to traffic from 5:00 PM.
