The Hunterdon County Library's Headquarters branch will host a series of events in the coming weeks, including a photography show and several history programs. Residents can drop off photos for the upcoming show on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4. Drop-off times are from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM each day, at the Headquarters Library Gallery. The Annual Amateur Photography Show will then be on display all day Monday, October 5, at the Headquarters Library Gallery. A reception for the photography show is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM, in the Headquarters Library Main Meeting Room.
Two history programs are scheduled for the Headquarters Library Main Meeting Room. "The Native Americans Who Saved the Pilgrims" is set for Tuesday, October 6, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. On Wednesday, October 7, a program titled "Halloween: A Haunted History" will take place from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Additional programs include a Monday Matinee: 9 to 5, which will be shown on Monday, October 5, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, in the Headquarters Library Main Meeting Room. The HQ Writers Group is also scheduled to meet on Monday, October 5, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, in the Headquarters Library Lower Level Meeting Room.
