Don was a delightful host at a recent networking soirée I had attended in Hillsborough, at the charming Italian gem, Caffe Piazza. With his warm demeanor and infectious enthusiasm, Don captivated the attending of the 20 attendees, giving us a scenic journey of northern Italy via our taste buds. We got to taste four exquisite wines, a blend of both robust reds and crisp whites. As a seasoned sommelier, Don was able to tell us tales from each of the cultural areas the grapes and wines came from and give us a sense of the flavors and scents we were partaking in. Don was charming and delightful to meet and chat with after the event and I found myself already eagerly plotting future collaborations with Don.
