I had my insurance switch to this location as my primary pharmacy after my CVS dropped NJ family healthcare, and I was shocked the pharmacist told me I had to go to another pharmacy since they didn’t have my prescription in stock. I don’t know how this works, but they are a pharmacy, how come they can’t fill a basic prescription I’ve been getting filled for years at my local CVS. I wouldn’t have minded waiting, but now I have to go through insurance and find another primary pharmacy. Not helpful not clear, 1/5
The kindest man/ cashier Stephen S. deserves a shout out. First for working on Memorial Day, and 2nd, a wonderful personality! Good bye CVS, Hello Walgreens Flemington!
I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my recent experience because customer service training is urgently needed in the pharmacy department. After cataract surgery on my left eye, Walgreens in Flemington filled the prescribed medication without issue. Two weeks later, I was scheduled for surgery on my right eye. When I went to refill the same medication, the insurance declined it as “too soon.” I understood this, but my doctor specifically asked me to explain that this was for the other eye and that the pharmacy should call the insurance company to prevent cross-contamination concerns. When I relayed this, the pharmacy technician told me, “Tell your doctor to call me and I’ll tell him how the real world works.” She then hung up on me. I called back, because being disrespectful is never part of a pharmacy tech’s role—helping patients safely access their prescribed medications is. I then called a different pharmacy. That representative immediately contacted the insurance company, explained the situation, and obtained an override within 30 minutes. My prescription was ready without delay. Why am I writing this? Because no patient should have to endure this kind of treatment—especially when a solution is so straightforward. My hope is that this Walgreens pharmacy invests in proper customer service
Everyone at work was kind and appreciative of your business and helped us immensely at the photography stand. Great job in the gentleman at the register was also doing a great job.
I called the pharmacy to get some information on a medication and the pharmacist was very nasty. When I mentioned that I was just calling to ask a quick question about a medication she said she was too busy to help me and didn’t have time to look up any information for me.
