⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a cozy and welcoming Mediterranean spot. From the moment we walked in, the vibe felt warm and inviting, and the owner, Jamal, was incredibly kind and accommodating. He took the time to explain the menu and you can truly tell that everything is made with love and care—it tastes genuinely homemade. The chicken shawarma platter was amazing: the meat was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The hummus was fresh, smooth, and full of flavor, and you could tell the ingredients were high quality. Every bite felt authentic and comforting. What really stood out, though, was the attention and hospitality we received. Service like that makes the whole experience special. Definitely a place I would come back to again and again. Highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A great place that’s gotten even better! It’s been about 7-9 years since my last visit, and I’m really glad we came back to Village Gyro in Flemington. The previous owners already had a solid spot with good food, but this location is now under new ownership, and they’ve taken it to the next level. The space is now clean, beautiful, and modern, while still keeping the welcoming feel that made it good before. It’s no longer the old store/deli-style setup, the updates make a big difference. The owner is super friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent. You can tell they care about both the food and the customer experience. If you liked this place years ago, you’ll be happy to see how much it’s improved. Definitely worth checking out (or revisiting). We’ll be back!

We've dined at this lovely restaurant twice. And both times were equally impressed with the fresh ingredients, tender meat, and flavorful vegetable dishes created by Chef Jamal in a true Mediterranean spirit. Great service in an upscale but cozy BYOB atmosphere. All your favorites are here and Chef Jamal hits the mark with desserts too. We come from PA and this is #1 on our list of exceptional, authentic Mediterranean restaurants. Too good to miss!

Delicious healthy food. We have ordered several times. The Avgolemono soup is so delicious. The pita fresh and warm. The roasted chicken is delicious. And delicious crispy spanikopita. Its ready quickly. Owner very nice also.
