For anyone looking for one of the best lawyers the public defenders office has to offer. I would highly suggest getting in touch with Yoana Yakova! I had hired a private firm with no back ground knowledge of firms in New jersey and the firm had great reviews but they were terrible and tried to scam me out of $5000. I contacted the public defenders office and was blessed to have Yoana assigned to my case. She fought very hard for me and was always very well at communicating via phone or email. I could not have asked for a better person to represent me! She is amazing at what she does and my case could not have had a better outcome because of her hard work and dedication to her job! 10 stars for me! She was amazing!! God bless her! I cannot thank her enough!!

Jada Mayson-Osabu is the best Attorney you can get to fight your case. I know she put in all her heart in my son’s case and fought hard for him. She is very professional and passionate about her job. She will sit down with you and completely explain everything to you and will not hold any punches. She is straight forward. She is a God send.

The Hunterndon Co. Public Defender's office represented me in a criminal and Traffic offiense case. The attorney, Yoana YAKOVA, did an outstanding jobe explaining the process and the severity of the charges. YAKOVA advocated for me agressively and brought the case to conclusion with a positive outcome for me. She went above and beyond for me.
