We visited Mr. Pops over the weekend and loved the interior, it’s such a beautiful store with so many chocolate options! We were even able to see how the chocolate is made in the back, and the staff was very welcoming throughout our experience. Places like these on Main Street are going to bring in a lot of people, definitely recommend checking it out if you have a sweet tooth!

Mr. Pops is an absolute gem in Flemington and one of those places you’re just happy to see in the community. The owners are truly awesome people, warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. The baked goods are wonderful, the coffee is delicious, and the artisan handcrafted chocolates are incredible. Every single one I’ve tried has been amazing. You can really taste the quality and care in everything they make. I’m grateful we have a place like this right here in Flemington!

felt like i traveled back in time here. Really awesome place, interior design is awesome. Employees and service was phenomenal. I forgot the whole reason why I came here, the chocolate! Really good, eating some as I type this. Super friendly, great atmosphere, good stuff, worth the visit. first time here, def wont be the last time.

It was my first time finally trying Mr. Pops! We were amazed at how incredible the chocolate is! The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy and nostalgic. We got peppermint patties, pecan caramel turtles, and candied oranges/lemons. We cannot wait to come back and try more. The prices were very reasonable for how high quality and delicious everything is. Highly recommend checking them out next time you're in Flemington!

I've lived here for 7 years never knowing "Mr. Pops" was a chocolate shop until reading about it online. My loss as I've gone thru 7 years thinking I already knew the best. But, I didn't. Funny how unfair we can be with limited experience all these years telling others what's best when under our noses there's exquisitely finer and better. Mr. Pops is CHOCOLATE; not a children's lollipop store. This is the best chocolate shop anywhere including those fancy ones in a certain lower Manhattan park. This guy must work 8 days a week searching and researching to acquire the world's finest chocolates into his homemade creations. He's obviously studied and worked under the best. His dedication to purity, care, and product is obvious. I even tried his sugar free product and learned before he offered it, he first studied and then sample taste tested each sugar substitute. No wonder I was unable to discern which piece was sugar free. Alas, no aftertaste. His dark chocolate is for purists chocoholics, especially if you like chocolate covered fruits. I discovered I love chocolate covered lemon rind. The tart and bitter combination left me wishing I bought more. Can't leave without revealing his hot chocolate takes the cake. Nothing worse than lining up for hot chocolate, paying $6 and then learning you just bought "Swiss Miss." Embarrassed to tell you how often I've been taken. You may have had some fine hot chocolates in our western counties but I promise you've never experienced hot cocoa this good. It's even better than the famed hot Italian cocoa served by the now closed Libby Beans, in Frenchtown. This cocoa also exceeds CocoLuxe's chocolate which keeps its chocolate a deep dark secret which I've tried uncovering more than once to make at home. Chocolate lovers and connoisseurs, drive here. You'll take a few pounds home!
